Google Sites gives you the ability to personalize the logo on the top left of your website. This is a great opportunity to showcase your school or team logos or add an image of the curricular topic you are creating your website around.

To add a logo, hover your mouse over the title of your website on the top left and you will see a drop down menu open up saying "Add Logo"

You can either upload a new logo, or select one from your Google Drive or Google Photos.

Once your logo is in place, you can select what color you wish your heading menu area to be. You can select between Transparent, White, or Black.

By doing this, Google Sites will also give you a sample of the colors in your logo that you can then select for your accent color in your Themes panel.
