OsnovnaškolaBilje (primary school Bilje)is located in the Baranja, situated in eastern part of Croatia in Danube region. We have 398 pupils ranging from 6 - 14 years.

Bilje is one of the largest villages in eastern Croatia with nature park Kopačkirit as resources. Our school belongs to a network to Eco-schools, and has a certificate of Eco school for many years now. The students of the school have regularly wellorganisedoutdoor practices, activities and classes guided by the experienced teachers. We have also participated in an international project about protecting environment by learning outdoors, and at the moment we are a part of an Erasmus+ project this is based on learning outdoors (Feel the four seasons beyond the walls). Our goal is for our students to gain environmental consciousness, respect to the nature, learning and acting more for protecting the elements of the nature and to have an idea about global environmental problems and their solutions.
