Welcome to Mount Royal!

Join us for the live address and be formally welcomed as the Fall 2021 incoming class! We are excited for you to join the Mount Royal community and cannot wait for your new journey to start. Our President and Vice- Chancellor, Tim Rahilly, will be greeting you along with other fantastic administration, staff, and students.

This mini-lecture will give you an opportunity to meet some of our amazing faculty members in the General Education Department and learn about current events through four different academic lenses: Numeracy and Scientific Literacy; Values, Believes and Identity; Community and Society; and Communication.

Iniskim Centre: The 8th Fire Presentation

The 8th Fire is the last in a series of prophecies that describe the relationship between the Indigenous and non-Indigenous Peoples of Turtle Island (North America). Previous fires describe key moments in the history of the Anishinaabe (Ojibway), from their original homes on the Eastern shores of Turtle Island to the Great Lakes region where most currently reside.
