I am Danny Hilton and I am the Assistant Band Director at Weslaco East High School and Assistant Band Director at Cuellar Middle School. I was born in San Juan but went to school in Donna where I graduated from Donna High School in 2005. I received a music scholarship from the University of Texas at Brownsville and moved there to pursue my degree in music education. Despite many obstacles, I earned a Bachelor's in Music in 2012 from the University of Texas at Brownsville. I was fortunate to find a high brass opening at Weslaco East HS in October of 2012. The past 8 years have gone by in the blink of an eye and yet I have acquired so many positive experiences. I thank God for the opportunities He has given me! The icing on the cake is that I can honestly say that I have learned so much from my amazing students and my amazing colleagues!
