Armour Points do not stack on each zone, eg; wearing a gambeson and a breastplate is only 2 points, not 3, for the chest zone. For armour to count, it must look like armour from a movie or be historically accurate. It must be made to a high quality standard and offer some level of protection or padding.

Players are able to use any of the following weapons at their own discretion. The weapons must be approved at sign-in for safety reasons, and must be immersive for the setting. Any player found to be unsafe with a particular weapon will be instructed to not use that weapon until they can clearly demonstrate they can safely use that weapon (Bows and 2-Handed only weapons will recieve additional scrutiny). All throwing weapons must be coreless. Bandguns may only be single barreled.

Note: Not all weapons that are advertised as LARP-safe weapons are safe for Wargrounds, due to their material and construction. Homemade weapons are allowed, however, documentation about its construction and a strict approval process will be required.
Bows are a complex and often dangerous weapon to use at LARP when not used correctly or in a safe manner. The 28 pound draw maximum does provide us with some additional safety, however it is the individual player's responsibility to know when to draw less (half-draw) based on their opponents range. Bows will receive additional scrutiny from Admins and Marshals due to their complexity, and if used unsafely, you may be asked to no longer use a Bow until such a time that you can demonstrate safe drawing practices.
To assist with danger mitigation, bows may not be fired at a player within a 2 metre range of the bow user. Within this range, an arrow may not be fired. Outside of this range, the standard draw practices (i.e. half-draw, full-draw) will apply. Do not attempt to parry arrows with a weapon, please see Safety Rules document for additional information.
For additional safety information, please read the Safety Rules document.
Players who wish to use shields may do so as long as they fit the following criteria and are used safely. Shields are not classed as weapons, and therefore cannot be used to strike opponents.
Round shields may have a maximum diameter of 70cm
All other shield types may have maximum dimensions of 60cm x 90cm
All Martial Classes (see Classes section) use Stamina for their respective abilities. The amount of armour worn directly affects the maximum amount of Stamina available. Mages use their Mana to cast spells instead of Stamina. The amount of armour a mage wears directly
affects the maximum amount of Mana they have. When Mana and Stamina are restored will be explained at the start of each game phase.
No Armour 10 5
Light Armour 7 4
Medium Armour 5 3
Heavy Armour 3 2
Shield use incurs a -1 penalty to total Mana.
