Wargrounds' fields are set up primarily using cones to designate different areas. The colour of the cones indicates the effect of the area within them. The below table is a general guide, and may be modified on game days with Admin discretion.
Orange and Red. Players unable to cross (Admins will state if melee and/or ranged attacks can happen over walls)
Blue. Non-scouts instantly die (see Classes for more information).
Green. After players finish their death count, they move back to their team's box to respawn
Yellow. Depicts areas that objectives need to be moved into.
White. Ice is traversable, but is considered one level of “difficult terrain".
Brown. Woodlands are traversable, but is considered one level of "difficult terrain". Players cannot shoot or throw inside woodlands terrain, or across the border (in or out). Players within woodlands may make melee attacks adjacent to the terrain border and vice versa. Any objective item/s which requires 2 hands are unable to be moved through this terrain.
Please note - "difficult terrain" is a stackable (to a maximum of 2 levels) condition that players may be given.
When a player is under the first level effect of "difficult terrain", they are unable to run and not able to carry objective items.
When a player is under the second level effect of "difficult terrain", they are unable to move their feet (in addition to not being able to carry objective items).
