The regiment is a professional mercenary formation combining Imperial discipline with Landsknecht tradition. Its colours are red and black. Members are primarily armed with swords and halberds, but are also trained and equipped to field firearms and siege engines as operational circumstances and officer discretion require.
“Professional” in this context means paid: each member receives a share of all contracts. Battlefield conduct is disciplined and coordinated; aesthetics and rules draw heavily from German Landsknecht tradition. Roleplay is left to individual members but generally reflects well-behaved scoundrels.
Each member maintains a character, and ranks exist for in-game structure only. All members are equal within the regiment, except officers when serving in logistical and administrative roles to enable the warband to function -This is an act of service, not privilege.
As the regiment participates in multiple events, members often create temporary, non-canon characters that contribute to extended lore. The regiment does not claim unearned achievements and takes pride only in those genuinely earned, such as its reputation as highly sought-after siege engineers and exceptionally capable scouts at Swordcrafts Quest.
