Users are responsible for providing sanitizer and sanitizing their own chair.
There is no lifeguard on duty. All persons utilizing this facility, and its amenities, are at their own risk.
Persons under 14 years of age must be accompanied by an adult resident at least 18 years of age and must be supervised at all times. Management staff may require proof of age.
Access to the pool area is by electronic FOB. To unlock the gate, waive the FOB in close proximity to the FOB reader near the gate. One (1) gate FOB is assigned to each unit. Replacement FOB’s can be obtained from the BOD at a cost of $75. This fee is subject to change.
Climbing over the fence or gate is prohibited. Failure to comply will result in a $500 fine.
No smoking in the pool area. This includes electronic cigarettes.
Comfort animals are not allowed in the pool area. Service animals are permitted upon notifying the Site Manager.
Consumption of food or alcohol while in the pool/spa is prohibited. No glass dishes, bottles or containers or any other breakable material shall be allowed in the fenced pool area.
Intoxicated persons are not permitted in the pool area.
No large mats, flotation devices (excluding flotation devices secured to the body for safety purposes only), balls, Frisbee, swim fins, or skin diving equipment shall be used in the pool area, if they restrict the use or enjoyment of the pool by others.
No horseplay, shouting, yelling, spouting of water, splashing (other than that accompanying normal swimming), spitting, blowing of the nose in the water, climbing on or over any fences or furniture, pushing, running, and scuffling will be allowed in the pool or surrounding area due to the annoyance it may cause other swimmers or apartment residents, hygiene and safety. The handrails are for safety purposes only and are not to be used as slides or diving devices.
No person with any disease commonly accepted by the medical community as communicable through casual contact may use the pool. All swimmers must shower before entering the pool or spa. Any sand, suntan oil and soap must be removed from the body prior to entering the pool or spa.
Bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, or other wheeled items are prohibited from the pool area. Children’s strollers are permitted.
Only acceptable swimwear will be allowed in the pool and spa; i.e., no cut-offs are permitted. In order for a baby or toddler to be in the pool, it must have a swim diaper on.
Furniture, other than that provided by the Waikoloa Hills AOAO, shall not be introduced into pool or picnic areas. Furniture shall not be removed from the pool area.
Upon departing the pool area, users are responsible for the removal of all articles brought into the area by them, including towels, books, clothes, etc. Waikoloa Hills Condominiums is not responsible for lost or stolen articles. The BOD should be contacted to determine if lost or stolen articles have been recovered.
No audio equipment, i.e., stereos, televisions, etc. may be played at the pool area without the use of headsets or ear plugs.
Personal Safety - No lifeguard on Duty - Swim at your own risk
Individuals unable to swim, without the aid of a safety device, must be accompanied by a responsible individual who can swim. No toys such as boogie boards, inner tubes, volleyball nets or other such water toys shall be allowed in the pool or spa, if they annoy other pool users. Apartment owners/renters are responsible for all members in the group and must ensure that the rules are followed.
The pool and spa water is chemically maintained according to Board of Health regulations and does include the insertion of various chemicals, including chlorine from time-to-time. Use of these amenities is done so at your own risk.
