Every student is an artist..

We work hard to develop studio art skills for many different kinds of making! Problem solving, experimenting, learning, and of course PLAY all happen during Art every single day. Mrs. Kanak loves to read to her students and tie in the stories to art we make together. We usually better understand what we read and see after we Art about it!

We also connect Science, Math, Geography, and other school subjects to our art explorations. This year, Mrs. Kanak has lots of new and exciting projects for K-6 grades to explore and experience. However, make sure you also share out what YOU would like to do in our art room.

Mrs. Kanak will be working in the Elementary Art Room again this year, and she is SO excited to show you all the changes she made to make it AMAZING. Let's learn and build our knowledge together and we will definitely have a great school year!
