Financial Assistance

To materially support the creation of a broader space in which academic exchange can occur, the AAfH is actively seeking to subsidize the attendance and participation of presenters who might not otherwise be able to do so. This includes but is not limited to:

  • People from countries where anthropology (or the relevant cognate discipline) has been historically absent or underrepresented in higher education,

  • People from historically marginalized groups (due to context-based factors of gender, sexual identity, race, ethnicity, class, religion, or ability), or

  • People facing economic hardship.
