Entering Programs

  • Input program fields for all programs after students are entered but before you plan to enroll students and take attendance.

  • 'Type' and 'Category' must be selected. These can be changed anytime and all records will update after clicking the update button

  • Enter days the program meets if using rosters

  • Note: to enter the lead staff person, you must FIRST enter staff people in the staff section as the drop down list is populated from that data

  • 'Location' shows up in rosters and reports

  • 'Area' shows up in the area report-This is optional

What the fields do

  • The max/current/and available numbers are used to manage enrollments and class capacity

  • program description and grade range shows up in the 'program report"

  • default time is used in attendance records to calculate hours (this is optional but interesting)

  • The program days are used to create rosters

  • The 'Attend" checkbox if checked, attendance lists when generated will assume all students are present (unchecking can occur)

  • The lead staff person shows up in rosters and reports

  • The optional line can be exported but is not used in any database reports.

  • The area is used in the program area report.

  • The cost is used in the program cost report.
