Career Works Skill Training

Student Spotlight: Kara M. is a superstar. She excels in academics all the while working a part-time job with excellent feedback from her employer.  She is now part of our Work Program and sets clear goals and action plans to meet those goals.  Her work in the Workplace Readiness course is exemplar, and she stays in regular communication with me.  She is a shining example of what is possible in a virtual learning environment preparing for adulthood.

Student Spotlight: Elijah Criste and Kelsey Darnell

This month’s spotlight shines on Elijah C. and Kelsey D., whose friendly competition for activity points has brought an incredible spark of energy to our class! Their enthusiasm, participation, and drive to outdo one another have made every discussion more engaging and every activity more fun. What started as a lighthearted rivalry has turned into a wonderful example of teamwork, motivation, and leadership—helping inspire everyone around them to get involved and give their best effort. So proud of both of them!
