Voices on the Map is a regional storytelling initiative that documents lived experiences from communities across Orange County and the Inland Empire. Through interviews, written stories, and community reflections, the project seeks to foster empathy, increase understanding, and elevate voices that are often unheard.
This project was made possible by partner service providers throughout Orange County and the Inland Empire, where OCAPICA serves as a regional lead. To learn more about our partner service providers, click here.
This project was developed through support from California's Stop the Hate Program, a three-year statewide initiative by the California Department of Social Services that works to prevent and address hate while promoting community safety, healing, and belonging. Through education, outreach, and storytelling, the initiative supports efforts that strengthen communities and encourage belonging across differences.
