Transitioning from Virtual to Face-to-Face
Transitioning from Virtual to Face-to-Face
During the 2020-2021 school year, it is possible instruction will need to transition from a virtual setting to face-to-face. If this were to occur, it will be necessary to take time to build classroom culture in a face-to-face setting. If this occurs, pacing documents will be updated.
If we are face-to-face and need to transition to a virtual environment, it will be important for students to be ready for remote learning. When face-to-face, students should still interface with Canvas in order for them to remain familiar with how it works. For example, homework and discussion boards could be kept active in a face-to face setting. Canvas is also an effective communication tool for parents in both virtual and face-to-face settings.
