Values

When I think of values the very first thing that comes to mind are these because these make up a person's character. As a young kid these six pillars of character were always talked about during my time at Homestead Elementary school. Since, learning about these I have made them part of the values that I possess as an individual. 

Responsibility - I strongly believe that I have to hold myself accountable for any type of situation or action that I may do because that reflect on me as a character. I have obligations that I put on myself or that other may put on me that I must fulfill. 

Caring - Empathy is a very strong feeling that is important especially in today's world. Showing Empathy can go a long way and reflect on myself as a character or overall make somebody feel like they are being listened to.

Respect - I know that respect sometimes may have to be earned, but I believe it is my part of my duty to also show respect to anyone I communicate, so they know I value what they are saying. Having self-respect also helps demonstrate who I am as a business professional.

Trustworthiness - Having someone's trust and maintaining it is important to my credibility as an individual. It allows people to talk to me and take me serious because they feel comfortable with me and see my confidence.

Citizenship - Helping out my friends, family, peers, and co-workers is very important to me. These are people who I talk to on a daily basis and are part of my life. I believe that helping out my community by volunteering my time is one of my duties as well.

Fairness - I treat everyone I talk with equality and do my best to be fair in every situation. I do this because fair is the way I would want to be treated as well. I believe that the world should be kind to each other and the very first step towards that is fairness.
