About Me

I have just transferred from Waubonsee Community College and now I am here at Northern Illinois University. I plan to receive a Bachelor's degree in Accounting by the fall of 2027. I also plan to get an excel certification here at NIU because it would help me with improving my resume. I believe NIU has the resources and provides the support to help me become successful and accomplish my goals. They provide lots of job fairs that help students come into contact with the recruiters. After securing a job I want to see if they can cover some of the expenses of taking the CPA exam so that I can get certified.  I am also currently considering doing a Master's degree here as well.

According to the True Personality Assessment I took in my business class I got the color Blue. According to the assignment I am an idealist. I think this accurately reflects on me because I care about how others feel. I also seek authencity and just make sure that others are on board and that I take to account their personal thoughts on a certain matter.

Strengths: I am bilingual and am able to speak fluent spanish. This helps me communicate with more people and allows me to conduct business in others countries if needed. My Adaptability is also one of my greatest strengths because I can learn how to adjust accordingly in any enviroment and be helpful. My critical thinking is another one of my strengths due to the fact I am able to take a situation and take all the variables into account before coming up with a solution.

I love going to concerts and festivals. Riotfest 2024 was my very first festival and I got to see some of my favorite rock bands such as The Warning, Fallout Boy, and The Offspring. 

This is the very first picture of the car I bought on February 2, 2026. This marks a huge milestone in my life. This felt like the biggest responsible decision I had ever made in my life. I knew I needed a reliable way to get to school since my old car broke down and I could not afford to miss another week of school. I went to the Toyota Naperville dealership and bought myself one of my dream cars. This is a 2024 Toyota Corolla Cross.
