For the past few years, I have worked with a team of individuals across campus to help develop an instructor dashboard. I currently manage the evaluation of this dasbhoard along with the Center for Faculty Excellence and help host workshops on using and learning from the dashboard to cultivate inclusive teaching. Feeling frustrated with not having a tool to quickly and accurately take attendance in large classes, I teamed up with a software engineering class and ITS to create this beacon-based check-in system. Read more about it in this report.
