Faculty Development

Working with Faculty

Cultivating Equitable Learning Environments, Yale U., Feb. '19

My focus on faculty development stems from my own scholarship of teaching and learning, professional development, and my experience teaching for over 20 years. Although my training is in STEM and quantitative methodology, my work with educators spans disciplines and is aimed at educators throughout K-16. For more information on plenaries, talks, and workshops, please see inclusifiED.com.

My work with faculty can be seen in the following:

Higher Ed Works: Remote Emergency Instruction Transition

ACUE: Featured Expert in ACUE training and author of pieces on Inclusive Teaching and Curriculum

Inside Higher Ed Podcast: Interactivity and Inclusivity, and Evaluations of Teaching (coming in August '19)

EdSurge: Author of piece on Inclusive Polling

UNC: Facilitating Campus-Wide Conversation on Inclusive Classrooms, Reporting to Faculty Council and other Workshops for Current and Future Faculty
