Slow
(2024-2025)
Slow and fast are relative.
To embrace slowness, my favourite way is to meander through the bustling locations. In this fun little game, the challenge lies in resisting the current of the surroundings. As the mind settles, the senses begin to amplify.
Walking and breathing are no longer on autopilot, but instead a conscious coordination of muscles contracting and relaxing. Air violently slaps against the cheeks while the world rushes past. Everyday objects, oddly composed, reveal themselves in the most familiar of places.
‘Slow’ is the tune that accompanies me along these long, reflective journeys—a reminder that it is perfectly acceptable to linger.

Slow is a project that reimagines the song “Slow” by SOLE in the form of a photobook. By combining photography, text, and illustration, the artist attempts to transform a song into a multi-sensory experience of visual, tactile, and auditory elements. Every book is carefully handcrafted by the artist to showcase the intimate and delicate nature of the book as an art form. Ultimately, this project aims to create a space for the audience to unwind.
