‘Slow’ — Mini Exhibition at LUMOS, Lumenvisum
Feb - Mar 2025
Slow and fast are relative.
To embrace slowness, my favourite way is to meander through the bustling locations. In this fun little game, the challenge lies in resisting the current of the surroundings. As the mind settles, the senses begin to amplify.
Walking and breathing are no longer on autopilot, but instead a conscious coordination of muscles contracting and relaxing. Air violently slaps against the cheeks while the world rushes past. Everyday objects, oddly composed, reveal themselves in the most familiar of places.
’Slow‘ is the tune that accompanies me along these long, reflective journeys-a reminder that it is perfectly acceptable to linger.
