住院醫師訓練期間: 2018/8 ~ 2021/7

林文湛醫師因「小動物呼吸胸腔心肺內科研究與臨床訓練-畢業後醫學訓練計劃」加入團隊，於2018/8 ~ 2021/7 三年期間進行住院醫師訓練，並參與科技部研究計畫以及全時的呼吸胸腔心肺科臨床醫療工作。林文湛醫師的訓練比照美國與歐洲獸醫內科醫學會及人類醫學次專科之訓練標準，持續累積小動物呼吸與心血管系統疾病的專科醫療知識及臨床經驗、參與臨床教學奉獻、進行可實際臨床應用以提昇醫療水準之研究、並持續於國際性專科會議發表研究成果進行國際交流。

林文湛醫師訓練期間專業水準受到國際肯定之成果，包括於國際性學術研討會(歐洲獸醫內科醫學會、美國獸醫內科醫學會、國際獸醫呼吸比較疾病學會)累積四次發表記錄，其中三項為第一作者身份，其關於肺超音波掃描在二尖瓣退化疾病小型犬受到下呼吸道疾病影響之臨床研究，在2020年以第一作者身份榮獲歐洲獸醫內科醫學會選為內科之最佳壁報論文獎；訓練期間共計發表了兩篇臨床研究原著論文 (1篇共同作者，1篇第一作者)，均刊登於獸醫學排名Q1之期刊，其主要研究成果以第一作者身份，於2022年4月獲接受發表於Journal of Veterinary Internal Medicine，對容易同時罹患心臟病與支氣管呼吸疾病的小型犬具有重大意義。

AiCVIM專科醫師考試路徑Candidate：
       於AiCVIM尚未開啟註冊程序之前已完成類似的嚴格住院醫師訓練計畫、提供所有訓練案例日誌、臨床學術著作等訓練歷程記錄者，因依照目前AiCVIM規章在2024七月前的紀錄無法計入認證期間，此Candidate在完成認證過程的同時，將參與臨床服務、研究和教學活動，作為獸醫學生和資淺住院醫師教育的臨床導師；並依時程參與專科醫師考試，完成認證程序。

黃柏堯醫師加入團隊以Alternative pathway接受「小動物呼吸胸腔心肺科住院醫師訓練」，並於2025年7月進入AiCVIM內科專科住院醫師訓練計畫。

黃柏堯醫師訓練期間參與團隊研究計畫與呼吸胸腔心肺科的臨床醫療工作與教學活動，特別是專注於重症加護呼吸器支持以及超音波相關的臨床專業研習。黃柏堯醫師訓練期間於重要國際性學術研討會(國際獸醫呼吸比較疾病學會)以第一作者身份進行口頭報告，分享胸腔超音波之橫膈超音波對肺功能輔助判斷之新穎臨床應用；訓練期間並以第一作者身份發表重要臨床病例報告於國際獸醫學臨床期刊，提出一種與多數獸醫文獻中記錄種別不同之肺蟲於貓造成感染導致氣胸的首度正式醫療報告，並經由該案例首次記錄肺蟲相關病變的肺臟胸腔超音波影像特徵，為未來的呼吸心肺專業醫療建立重要參考資訊。

Po-Yao (Brandon) Huang is in an alternative pathway of a residency program in Small Animal Respiratory & Cardiovascular Medicine/Integrated Cardiorespiratory Care, supported by the TACS-Alliance Research Center, the Cardiorespiratory Service at National Taiwan University, and its allied specialty networks. While working toward fulfilling the training certification criteria, he has been accepted into an approved residency program of AiCVIM (Asian College of Veterinary Internal Medicine) in Small Animal Internal Medicine and will transition to the AiCVIM residency program in July 2025. Brandon’s passion for veterinary medicine stems from his lifelong love for animals and his desire to make a meaningful difference in their lives. He embraces the importance of good communication with pet owners and collaboration with colleagues to provide the best care for his patients. Brandon is conducting clinical research on topics related to ventilatory support, cardiorespiratory ultrasound, and respiratory diagnostics. Brandon’s ultimate goal is to advance veterinary medicine by refining his expertise, contributing to clinical medicine, and improving the health and well-being of animals through compassionate, evidence-based care.

陳麒如醫師因「小動物呼吸胸腔心肺科研究與臨床訓練-畢業後住院醫師訓練計劃」加入團隊，於2022年9月起開始進行住院醫師訓練，正式於2026年9月完成三年期臨床專科訓練。陳麒如醫師在呼吸胸腔心肺臨床專科訓練期間，持續累積小動物呼吸與心血管系統疾病的專科醫療知識及臨床經驗、參與臨床教學、進行臨床研究。

陳麒如醫師重要研究成果包括開發運用電子聽診器進行無壓力之心率變異分析方法、呼吸道阻塞之非侵入性肺功能研究、應用電子聽診器於異常肺音偵測、以及運用重症加護呼吸器評估貓氣喘、貓慢性支氣管炎等疾病之氣道阻力與肺臟彈性變化。陳麒如醫師在臨床專科訓練期間，以第一作者身份或共同作者角色發表多項臨床研究，並於重要國際性學術研討會以第一作者身份進行口頭報告 (歐洲獸醫內科醫學會、國際獸醫呼吸比較疾病學會)，並於2025年榮獲 Joan A. O’Brien Research Award，成為第一位拿下這個榮譽獎項的台灣人。此外，從心肺病患的重症加護呼吸器操作、非侵入式呼吸支持 (如安全帽式 CPAP 正壓呼吸器) 的調整，到運用AI技術開發多項心肺訊號解析系統，陳麒如醫師持續從臨床需求出發，不斷為動物病患尋求更好的問題解決方案。

Dr. Chi-Ru (Roo) Chen is a veterinarian and clinical researcher with a focus on small animal respiratory and cardiovascular medicine in Taiwan. Her postgraduate training includes a three-year residency program in small animal respiratory and cardiovascular medicine, with completion in mid-September 2026, supported by residency training and clinical research grants from the TACS-Alliance Research Center and the National Science and Technology Council, Taiwan. Her research focuses on the clinical application of digital stethoscopes and cardiopulmonary signal analysis, as well as pulmonary function assessment and advanced respiratory care in dogs and cats. When not in the hospital, Dr. Chen finds balance by spending time with her beloved dog and exploring the underwater world. These moments of connection reinforce her commitment to veterinary medicine—inspiring her to provide patients with the same joy and vitality she values in her own life.

陳品妍醫師因「小動物呼吸胸腔心肺科研究與臨床訓練-畢業後住院醫師訓練計劃」加入團隊，於2023年8月起開始進行住院醫師訓練，正式於2026年9月完成三年期臨床專科訓練。陳品妍醫師在呼吸胸腔心肺臨床專科訓練期間，持續累積小動物呼吸與心血管系統疾病的專科醫療知識及臨床經驗、參與臨床教學、進行臨床研究。

陳品妍醫師於呼吸胸腔心肺臨床專科訓練期間，除了參與臨床試驗教育訓練之規劃，臨床研究上特別著重於支氣管肺泡檢體之深度分析，陸續參與的重點工作包括以分析支氣管肺泡灌洗液雙折射顆粒來探討貓砂是否可能導致礦物性顆粒吸入而致病、運用特殊染色調查脂質於肺部的存在狀況與疾病關聯性、貓皰疹病毒/貓卡里西病毒在上呼吸道與下呼吸道的活毒型式調查、貓冠狀病毒造成之不典型肺炎。訓練期間並以第一作者身份發表重要臨床病例報告於國際期刊，對一位反覆夜間急診、經歷半夜突發呼吸困難、暫時性紅血球增多症、咳血而受盡折磨的犬病患與其家屬，報告診斷思路及問題解決過程；此案例經歷漫長的奮戰，以及陳品妍醫師查考各類古今醫學科學文獻資料後，逐步推導出極為罕見的交感神經調控異常之致病機轉可能性，接著研究並找出治療方法後，終於達到長期穩定，解除病患與家屬的痛苦，並為未來的呼吸心肺病患留下重要的參考資訊。

Residency training in small animal respiratory medicine, cardiovascular medicine, and integrated cardiorespiratory clinical care

Specialty Internship Program is a twelve-month training in small animal respiratory and cardiovascular medicine, offering the first step toward specialty training. Throughout the program, the specialty intern will develop foundational skills, knowledge, and clinical experience in small animal respiratory and cardiovascular medicine, preparing the trainee for subsequent residency programs and future board certification in this specialty.
