Due to equipment limitations at NTUVH, patient care is often compromised. We are seeking donations of the following resources to support clinical care, teaching, and research:
(Please ensure that donations are specifically designated for use by the Cardiorespiratory Service at NTUVH; only then can our patients truly benefit from your support. In recent years, medical fees paid by our Cardiorespiratory Service patients have not been available for use toward Cardiorespiratory Service medical needs.)

Utilizing professional bronchoscopes and critical-care equipment to perform diagnostic procedures for airway and lung diseases, as well as delivering condition-appropriate interventional treatments
Integrating lung high-resolution CT imaging to minimize patient transfers and waiting time, thereby providing a more efficient and high-quality diagnostic environment

Our team offers state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment services to dogs and cats with respiratory disease. The service also offers comprehensive evaluation of cardiorespiratory function and an integrated management for cardiorespiratory comorbidities.

* The newest non-invasive diagnostics and innovative therapies: Our team is actively developing and investigating innovative diagnostics and treatments. Our team can offer access to numerous clinical studies involving the newest non-invasive diagnostics and new therapies that are not available anywhere else in the country. By participating in an ongoing clinical study, your pet may be among the first to benefit from a new diagnostic/therapeutic approach. You may also have the chance to help other pets and improve small animal medical care. For more information about pros and cons of joining a clinical study, please do not hesitate to discuss with us.

Our team provides expert care to dogs and cats with respiratory disease and cardiorespiratory comorbidity. Many chronic respiratory/cardiac diseases are manageable on an outpatient basis and allow for a good quality of life. Whenever specific procedures are required, our team will assist in the referral to university teaching hospital.
