I have always been committed to creating and maintaining an environment free from any discrimination.
When I was at high school and university I was a member of the non-profit ‘AFS-Intercultura’, which promotes intercultural learning and education in schools all over the world. Its aim is to help students develop the skills needed to accept diversity and to create a world based on tolerance and peace.
My passion for diversity grew even stronger in Hong Kong, where I pursued my PhD. There, I had the privilege to lead a university-based interfaith fellowship which was open to students not only of any religion but also of no religious affiliation.
