Knowledge Day (1st september) has appeared in 1984 year and still celebrated to this day.Probably this holiday can be acknowledged as one of the most contradictory. On one hand pupils who had a good rest and took a lot of new energy go to school line-up with enthusiasm and meet their grown and happy friends.
Waking up in Knowledge day turns into a kind of ritual. Pupils need to make themself look good and show what chaned in them after 3 mounths of summer holidays. Girls put on beautiful school dresses with white apron and tie lush bow-knots in their hair. Boys put on suits and white shirts. Perhaps during school year pupils will be wanting to break the rules and not wear the uniform but in this holiday everyone wants to put on their school apparel and not to put off that during this festive day.
In this day everyone is ful of uncontrollable joy and inexplicable feeling of waiting something new. In the heads of pupils is chaos which was formed by their dreams and thoughts like "In this year I will be study better with all of my aspiration", "I want to show everything that I learned on vacation to everyone", "I want to make a friendship with new people"
On the line-up you can see elegant teatchers, laughing pupils and their parents in the Uzhur. Everyone is fascinated and follows the unwritten rule - to be happy. Someone comes to the school in the first time and everything is new and unusual for him. This year can be last memory about someone school life.
In the end the pupil from the grade 11 walks around with the girl who is from the grade 1 and rings in the bell. The festive part of this holiday ends.
After this pupils go to school with their teachers. In the classroom every pupil gives a beutiful bouquet of flowers to the teacher. Absolutely school looks changed too: painty walls, green plants, new things and another atmosphere.
On the Day of Knowledge, graduates dance a waltz. They will have a particularly difficult year, because ahead of the preparation and passing exams, admission to the university by profession. This is, perhaps, the most responsible and difficult year for all the school years. All students try to arrange their future as best as possible, do not let their parents down and show everyone the highest level!
A teacher talks about plans for this school year, asks about pupils memories and things that they did at the vacation. Again pupils become a children for their teather for 9 mounts. Here is a lot of things they will be must to do like reading a lot of books, solving the math and phisics tasks, dealing with chemistry equations, remembering of new historical facts and dates.
On the other hand sometimes pupils can have thoughts like "Oh no, here is 9 months of anguish again", "I can't spend all my free time in the way I want", "I and my friend will be busy", "Here is homework and strick parents".
Then pupils disperse and do what they want: someone gos for a walk with the friends, someone celebrates a beging of the school year with the classmates in the pizzeria, someone spends the time with the parents at home.
In the evening everyone fill in a diary, get their schoolbag and ready to get the knowledge in the next day.
This day is not only holiday for pupils and teachers, it reminds us how educationd is important for us.
