Wedding is event that everyone memorize for all his life. You can say that in this day mind of many people can be chaned. For example newlyweds become more mature. After weddind carefree and playful bride should begin to play a role of the wise homemaker and be ready to be a loving mother. A bridegroom who didn't know what is real care about someone else besides his parents and how to be atteched should become a protector of his flame. Both of them should understand that they created something great wich calls a family. So they must to keep their own happiness like apple of their eye. Parents of newlyweds send their little birds to free flight so that they will make own lovely place.
Every single thing has a fabulous and thriling meaning in this day. The bride like a princess puts on beatiful wedding dress, does makeup and her hair. The bridegroom in turn puts on elegant suit and reminds a prince. Parents and guests are festive too.

In Russia history of weddind dates from spead of Chiristianity in the end of 10 century. Traditional Russian wedding is very colorful and merry. Russian marriage ritual reminds a kind of spectacle with own actions, costumesand texts. Earlier there wasn't restrictions when you should to celebrate the wedding but accoding to a popular belief the church fete which calls Pokrov(14th october) opens the winter. The fete was a patron of weddings so bridegroom preffered to ask for bride's hand in this day. Young lady who hadn't a boyfriend said "Father Pokrov you will spead the snow at the land and will give me a bridegroom ". Befor girl marry the men she should to give her dowry ( ussualy it was items like bedline, dreasses, household utensils, jewelry) to bridegroom's family. Here is a lot of other russian wedding truditions and some of them continues to exist.
In Uzhur, like in other cities, lovers create a family. The wedding ceremony takes place at the local registry office. Usually, Russian weddings are celebrated on a grand scale. Uzhur is no an exception. We have some traditions:
1)Pre-wedding (bride watching, matchmaking, betrothal, hen party, a bachelor party)
2)Wedding (redemption of the bride, wedding train, wedding, wedding party or a wedding feast)
3)After the wedding traditions (the second day, celebration)
Also there is a tradition to hold several weddings in one day. You can arrange with friends or relatives about this. It is more fun and exciting!
After the wedding ceremony, the couple go to the stream attached to the arch of the door lock, and throw the key into the water ( it is a Russian tradition)
