For 10 years, student assessment assistants have supported the work of data collection and report writing throughout the organization.

DESCRIPTION

The Student Assessment Assistant is responsible for assisting with the design, structure, testing, editing, scheduling, launching, and assessment of corporate surveys and assessment tools; typing documents and entering data onto spreadsheets; creating, publishing, and presenting data findings, creating data reports and executive summaries, maintaining records and other related duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES

· Working with department managers, supervisors, and coordinators in designing, structuring, testing, editing, scheduling, launching, and assessing corporate surveys and assessment tools

· Entering data onto spreadsheets, archiving and maintaining USU assessment database

· Creating, publishing, and presenting data findings, creating data reports and executive summaries

· Maintaining electronic and hard copy records of surveys and results

· Ensuring the publication of survey results as assigned

· Conducting focus groups

· Collaborating with manager to recommend next steps based on survey results

· Completing simple-to-complex typing assignments

· Setting meetings with internal clients and corresponding frequently with them via e-mail and telephone

· Working with established computer programs, i.e. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint,

· Interfacing with frequently used websites, i.e. StudentVoice, Prezi

· Assisting manager with the tracking of assessment findings over time and determining trends

· Maintaining a calendar of assessments and making recommendations for survey launches

· Submitting findings for Executive Director’s reports when assigned

· Presenting findings to the Manager of Administration and Communications, the Management Team, Board of Directors and survey takers as assigned

· Preparing data for inclusion in the USU Annual Report

· Conducting various research projects given by the Manager of Administration and Communications, Executive Director or Management Team Other related duties as assigned
