The Sketch + History Walk series titled 'Retaining the City' was conceptualized in order for our sketchers to learn and appreciate the historical significance of certain landmarks in the four cities, and capture them via pen and brush strokes. 

Negombo, Kandy, Galle and Colombo were selected since each of those cities are home to an array of interesting land marks. 

The Project Team scouted each location, identified local collaborators, partnered with local parties/institutions, and ensured that each Sketch Walk ran smoothly.
