The Lavian Government has recently accelerated the construction approval of the Varmund Nuclear Recycling Facility (NRF). The facility, designed after the Ernie NRF is to be constructed near the city of Ifran, with estimates putting the facility being finished in early 2030. While the site is currently being excavated and prepared for the needed foundations, experts already estimate that the facility will provide Ifran nearly 5,000 jobs, ever expanding Lavia's nuclear workforce. While the facility will help cut back on needed uranium imports, the facility will also extract Plutonium, a resource needed to upkeep Lavia's warheads.
Some in Ifran have voiced displeasure at the potential of such materials being used for weapons, however many look forward to the jobs the construction and the facility itself will bring. On the other hand, the Argos Nuclear Association (ANA) celebrates the recent approval with their vice-president, Vyoshen Ferek, stating "This comes of great news to those who wish for more clean and efficient energy for the world. This will help reduce needed uranium mining, as well as hopefully influencing others to do the same." The Varmund NRF has only cemented the ULR's title as Erene's leading nuclear fuel recycler, influenced by the nation's lack of natural uranium reserves.
While the Beritrin Group already has recycling contracts with nations such as Hydronia, Arenenge, Vespurias and Nordiheim, it is currently looking to expand the list of nations which it imports spent uranium from. This new plant might be the thing needed to influence such deals.
As the Airforce of the Republic looks to keep their "Tyrants" relevant via another modernization program planned to expand their service life for almost an additional 30 years, the plane is to have it's purpose modified.
Initially meant to act as a platform for high altitude reconnaissance missions and nuclear strike, modern air defenses and missiles have decreased it's usefulness in it's strike purposes for the airforce. To negate this, the military has turned to converting most of it's strategic bombers into carriers for cruise missiles.
While this role can be filled by recently retired Chimera-N6000s and the still in service Chimera-S6000s as well as the Jarata-F28s, the YA-B5s promise to be able to carry heavier, longer range, and more impactful missiles to strike targets across the world.

Excitement is brewing on the LRS Herman III as the ship is to train with the squadron VCF-10 and their AMSF-CF130 carrier based multi-role stealth aircraft.
The training has been planned to go on for a month, familiarizing the crew with servicing and handling the aircraft, as well as allowing the squadron to get needed flight time from a carrier.
For the aviation and naval enthusiasts, they will be able to spy the training group between the northern shore of Rasami Island and the south of Manzaro, as well as the navy holding a tour day for the carrier after the training concludes in late May, although no certian date for the tour has been given.

The seasonal tourist boom is in full swing this year, with costal cities seeing tourists from all over the world visiting Laiva's gold and white shores. The sector plans to serve almost a 6% increase in visitors from last year, prompting the expansion of many recognizable resorts and hotel chains.
The now monarchy become republic via violent coup, the Second Flousech Republic is sending over a diplomat to talks with the Government. The diplomat, Klos Reuter, was formerly the country's royalist diplomat to Elyser.
The selection of such person can most likle be assumed to keep on good terms with the Government and Monarchy. While the talks won't be made public, the new Government is most likely looking for international backing and recognition as it's deposed royals stay in exile within Vespurais.
"The Lavian economy has been growing at a steady rate," Joseph Embral said Wednesday during the press conference. "The economy is projected to exceed expectations for this year, projecting to grow 3.9% rather than the earlier projected number of 3.1%. Inflation holds steady at 2%, setting the stage for a good economic year."
Additionally, Embral reveled that growth has been growing again in the Steel sector after a long period of stagnation, bringing more money to the industrial powerhouse of Makinar. Advanced Manufacturing, Tech, Defense Exports, as well as the Tourism and Service industry are the leaders recent growth, with the Oil and Nuclear sectors not far behind.
The LS-2, first introduced to Lavian Agriculture in 1951 as the Wuying-47, was a major force in saving the sector after crop-dusters became scarce during WW2. Helping relive the post-war need for such aircraft after Aircraft companies went full gear into producing military aircraft, leaving the crop-duster craze started in 1933 to dry out as farmers pushed their aircraft to the limits of their service limits, it is one of the most significant planes in lavian Agricultural history.
Remaining a staple of farms for more than 70 years of use, the Llya Sokolov Aircraft Company still offer parts, upgrades, and modern versions to this day.
