Bypassing Restrictions
Browse as guest
This is only an option for Chromebooks as far as I know. It will unblock blocked sites and other restrictions but may still be subject to administrator-enforced proxies. It is available in the Chrome browser but I'm not sure whether it'll bypass restrictions. However, if you have an administrator on your account they can disable this feature There should be a button on the lower left corner of the log-in screen to the right of the "Shut Down" button on the sign-in page. (Image instructions)
If you have difficulty accessing it because it disappears here are some methods: type in an incorrect password on purpose, press the "Add person" button and then press the "Back" button on the upper left corner, or wait a bit (this is not as effective). Keep in mind that the above methods don't always work.
Load unpacked extension
This is only an option for Chromebooks as far as I know. Load unpacked extension should bypass the restriction of blocked extensions or blocked Chrome web store however you need all the extension files (so you'll have to hope that the extension is open source). Toggle on "Developer Mode" and then click the "Load unpacked" button which should be the first button on the left. (Image instructions)
Add person
This is only an option for Chromebooks as far as I know (at least the way that Chromebooks do it). This will bypass all restrictions such as blocked sites and even administrator-enforced proxies. All settings will also be available to you. Just add an account that isn't enforced by an administrator (such as a personal Gmail, Hotmail, etc account). There should be a button on the lower left corner of the log-in screen to the right of the "Browse as guest" button on the sign-in page. (Image instructions)
Developer Mode
This will completely wipe your history and other activity and remove any administrators and the Chromebook will look brand new. This may not work. WARNING: If you run across any issues it may void the Chromebook's warranty and remember that enabling Chrome OS Developer Mode opens up your Chromebook to abilities that aren’t officially supported. Make sure to research anything you want to try, and keep in mind that unsupported and experimental features can cause problems. The responsibility falls only upon you if something happens to your software or hardware!
Other drawbacks:
All security features are disabled when Developer Mode is turned on
You lose your local data when enabling or disabling Developer Mode. There’s a particular risk when disabling it, since an accidental press of the Spacebar at the wrong time is all you need to lose your data once again. Making continuous backups if you’re working on something important is recommended
Chromebooks normally boot up extremely fast, which is a feature you lose when Developer Mode is enabled. You’ll have to see a warning screen whenever you switch on the device
Instructions
Reboot your Chromebook
While your Chromebook is restarting, simultaneously hold the Power+Esc+Refresh keys
Press and hold the Ctrl+D keys at the same time when the "ChromeOS is missing or damaged. Please insert USB stick" message pops up
A message may appear asking about OS verification. If so, press Enter
Your device restarts and sets up Developer Mode
Press Ctrl+D when a screen displays OS verification is off
To Disable Developer Mode
Shut down your Chromebook
Press the power button to power on your Chromebook
Press the space bar when the OS verification is off message pops up
The Chromebook factory resets and completes the regular setup process, then it should be disabled
Powerwash/Factory Reset
This may or may not work. Powerwashing resets your Chromebook.
Instructions:
Sign-out of device
Press and hold Ctrl + Alt + Shift + r
Select Restart
In the box that appears, select Powerwash and then Continue
Follow the steps that appear and sign in with your Google Account
Note: The account you sign in with after you reset your Chromebook will be the owner account
Deleting History
Often times admins block this page chrome://settings/clearBrowserData to prevent people from deleting history or other browser data, however you can still access it if you go to chrome://settings and click the "Privacy and security" button. Then click the "Clear browsing data" button, you should see something like this. Then proceed with deleting history and other data. However, if you see something like this that means your admin has restricted it. If you see this use the methods below.
If you want to delete something from your search history that you searched on Google but deleting history is blocked simply search the thing that you or someone searched on Google and find it on the list of options, it should have the history icon (link) on the far left. On the far right when you hover should be a X, click the X and it will be deleted from your history. This won't work for links only things searched in Google, not sure whether this works on other browsers may work in other Chromium browsers though. (link) scroll down to where it says "Browsers based on Chromium")

Deleting Full History
If you want to delete the full history of your school account but can't because it's blocked, well there's a way. When you open your Chromebook on the lower left corner should be a "Add Person" button. Press it, and log into a personal account. When you log back into your school account the history will be completely deleted. WARNING: This will delete all saved data like cached data, saved log-in data, cookies and other site data, all files, browsing history, and download history! Image
Another option is to remove the default account. Click the down arrow next to the name of the default account and click the "Remove account" button. WARNING: This will delete all saved data like cached data, saved log-in data, cookies and other site data, all files, browsing history, and download history! Image
Use A PC
While this is very simple it is very effective. Blocked sites and other admin-controlled restrictions will not affect your PC.
