Clinical Psychology Representative

Taylor Flowers (she/her) is a second-year student in the Clinical Psychology doctoral program at the University of Memphis. Taylor received her B.A. in Psychology from Southern Connecticut State University in 2017. She then received her M.S.Ed in Counseling and Mental Health Services from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018. Upon graduating, Taylor worked as a Clinic Assistant at the Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at the University of Pennsylvania. She also worked as a Research Coordinator at the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz VA Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA. Her current research interests are in trauma, maladaptive coping, and help-seeking, with an emphasis on service members and Veterans of marginalized identities. In her free time, she enjoys soaking up the sun by the pool or grabbing margaritas at Los Comales! 



Taylor's advice to graduate students:

Don't be afraid to advocate for yourself and set boundaries! This goes for personal and professional settings.
