Brooke Buckley

Brooke (she/her/hers) is a third-year in the clinical psychology doctoral program. She graduated with her BA in Psychology from Saint Edward's University in Austin, TX. She currently works under the supervision of Dr. Meghan McDevitt Murphy in the Trauma & Coping Research Group. Her research interests include trauma, PTSD, and substance misuse, specifically among military veterans, first responders, and women in these professions. In her free time, she enjoys playing guitar, live music, crafting, and thrifting.

Brooke's advice to graduate students: 

Everyone comes in with different experiences and goals. Don’t measure your success with someone else’s ruler. You were chosen out of hundreds of applicants, and you deserve to be here.​
