High Expectations & Outcome Oriented Programming

    • Ensure that every method/material is relevant to learning goal and assessment

    • Goals can be adjustable, and a variety of methods & materials can be used.

    • Do not need to lower academic standards or goals – provide multiple pathways for meeting goals

Use assistive technology & proper accommodations and modifications to provide inclusive learning opportunities in academic settings.

Career planning should be embedded with or aligned with core academic instruction (including CTE options)

Use co-curricular or extra curricular activities to support student development & meet transition needs

  • Use of LinkedIn Learning to blend academic skill instruction & 21st century skills while allowing students to earn certificates making students’ more marketable for employment.
