Representation

Multiple means of representation focuses on how we are presenting our information to the students- such as in multiple formats. [How many of you just use PowerPoint? Or handouts? Or one way of teaching to the whole group?] If we tap into the students' 5 senses- touching/feeling, auditory, visual, we can engage them in different ways and provide information in a way that is meaningful for them to learn it, rather than one way. This can include using a KWL chart- eliciting that background knowledge, providing background information, etc...
