PLAYERS PLAYER: MARIT DE BEER

Player’s player for the V team goes to someone whose dedication and team spirit have truly stood out, even when injured. She has shown up to every game, even supporting the U team in their games as well. She’s never missed a training session and always gives her best. Her positivity, encouragement and genuine care for the team shine through in everything she does. She is the kind of teammate who lifts others up, puts the team first and leads by example with her unwavering commitment.

MOST IMPROVED PLAYER: MEGAN MCCRACKEN

Most improved for the V team goes to a player whose progress has been amazing to watch – her footwork has come on leaps and bounds, and her confidence has grown with it. While she prefers attacking positions, her willingness to step into the WD bib on occasion has shown her incredible versatility. She’s developed a real knack of reading defensive play and making those crucial intercepts at the right moments. Her growth this season has been outstanding, and she truly deserves this award.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR:  SIENNA GORDON

Player of the year for the V team goes to a player who brings energy, instinct and intelligence to every game. She is an awesome player who is always hunting for the intercept and reading the play like a pro. Her timing is impeccable and she’s constantly one step ahead of the opposition. Not only does she shine on court, but her input at intervals shows her sharp game sense and team attitude.
