COACH: ANNIE HARRIS

SEASON SUMMARY: This year, second time in, has definitely had its challenges, again I have loved it and I had kept the girls from last year together with a couple of new ones coming into the team. Knowing you all a little better it was fun, our social event yet to come. I just want to say thank you to you all for being patient and understanding when taking time off court. We were always keen to win but unfortunately we didn't this year and not without trying that's for sure!

My awards were hard choosing this year because you all put something into our team that was truly recognised. Thank you girls, rest up and enjoy your summer break.

PLAYERS PLAYER:  BELLA DOWLING

Full of drive, passion, and spark every time she steps on court. She shows up to every training, gives 110%, and plays with both commitment and passion. She’s constantly making key turnovers during games, shifting momentum and giving the team that extra boost when we need it most. Beyond her skill and effort, what truly makes her shine is her attitude. She’s always happy to be there, smiling, supporting others, and creating a space where everyone feels encouraged. She’s friendly, empathetic, and never has a bad word to say. Her positivity is infectious, and her presence lifts the whole team.

We’re so lucky to have her, and it’s no surprise the team chose her for this award. Thank you for being you, our absolute rocket, and a core part of this team.

MOST CONSISTENT PLAYER: RUBY HARRIS

This award goes to the player who has been the steady heartbeat of our team all season. She’s always there on game day, ready to give 100%. Her communication on court keeps us connected, her energy lifts the vibe, and her commitment never wavers.

Whether she’s locking down her opponent, encouraging teammates, or contesting every ball, she’s been consistently present, reliable, and just all-around legendary. Her important contributions to our stats have played a key role in our success throughout the season.

Off the court, she’s gone above and beyond — taking on so much of the admin work that keeps our team running smoothly. That effort often goes unseen but is deeply appreciated, and I am truly grateful for everything she’s done behind the scenes.

Thank you for being the teammate we can always count on — your consistency has been the quiet (and sometimes loud!) superpower that’s helped carry us through the season.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR: ABBEY SCOTT

This award goes to someone who has truly embodied what it means to be a netballer, not just in skill, but in spirit. Her commitment has been unwavering from day one, and her presence on court is nothing short of inspiring. Every game, she gives it her all, pushing through tough matchups with grit, calm, and grace. Even when things get rough, she keeps her cool, plays fair, and carries on with quiet strength and composure.

She’s been a player we needed on court - the one who brought balance, control, and that extra lift to the team when it counted most. Her impact went beyond stats; it was in the way she anchored us and kept us steady. Off the court, she’s just as impressive - never a bad word to say, always polite and respectful to her coaches, and endlessly kind and friendly to her teammates. Her calm, positive presence was a constant throughout the season, and it lifted all of us. She’s been a rock for us this season -steady, strong, and humble. We couldn’t be prouder to name her our Player of the Year.
