COACHES:  GEORGIA MACPHERSON & JULIA HOPKINS

PLAYERS PLAYER: FREYA CRAIG

Freya has been chosen for Players’ Player because she is bubbly and brings a fun vibe, she is very vocal on and off the court and is a great asset to the team. The whole team feeds off her energy and it makes for a lot of fun at training and games.

MOST CONSISTENT: ELLIE MORGAN

Ellie has been chosen for Most Consistent because no matter what defender she comes up against she has been able to adapt to the situation and shoot incredibly. She is a valued member of the team and doesn't let anything rattle her. She has a great positive attitude, is always looking for ways to improve and takes on any advice given to her. Ellie has been a pleasure to coach and we look forward to seeing what she can do in the future.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR: CLAUDIA LASSITER  

Claudia has been chosen for Most Valuable player because no matter where we put her on court she excels. Claudia started as a shooter but with a few sudden injuries she got thrown in the deep end into the defense circle. Her versatility, speed and ability to read the game really shone through when she moved into defence creating a lot of turnovers and opportunities for us. Alongside her skill, she has been very committed to trainings and games and is always positive and friendly. We really appreciate her resilience and dealing with whatever we throw at her without a complaint. Claudia is an incredible player and we look forward to seeing how she progresses!
