PLAYERS PLAYER:  ALESHA ALEXANDER

Alesha is an awesome team supporter both on and off the courts. Her positive personality uplifts the team, and she always has a smile on her face.  She always gives everything 100% and you can really see the effort she puts into the game.

MOST IMPROVED: FLORENCE FAULKS

Florence has improved so much this season. She really takes your advice on board and you could see this when she went back on court. Her confidence in GK is amazing and both Brooke and I have enjoyed seeing her progress this season. Florence is such an amazing player with a positive attitude. I can’t wait to see her progress even more.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR: RACHEL HARFORD

Rachel has been an incredible leader of our team this year. Her commitment to the team is unlike anyone else. Even in holidays Rachel would make the drive back to Christchurch from Geraldine to be at training and games, which was really awesome. She bought our team together and really encouraged everyone to go out and bond outside of netball too, which really helped our team gel. Rachel has been a key player for the E team on the court, making our defensive side absolutely thrive. I would love to see Rachel try out for a higher team next year as I think she has the potential to play on a higher grade. Just an awesome teammate and player to coach.
