COACH: EMMA BORRIE & LARA PIETERS

PLAYERS PLAYER: KAYLEY DONOVAN

This season’s Players’ Player is someone whose energy, positivity, and determination lifted up the entire team. No matter how the game would be going, they continued to give their all and encouraged everyone around them to do the same. Their calm presence, valuable advice, and enthusiasm inspired the whole team. She supported her teammates, was always reliable, and always ready to be an option both on and off court.

MOST IMPROVED PLAYER: LUCY HOWARTH

This player has come in leaps and bounds throughout the season, always taking any opportunity to learn and improve her performance with a smile and a good attitude. Her natural athleticism gave her the ability to refine her skills and grow in confidence every game. Despite never playing netball before, she quickly became a valuable asset in the mid court, and has been a powerful presence on court in both attack and defense. Her growth throughout the season has been outstanding to watch.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR:  KAYLEY DONOVAN 

This player was a stand out, showing incredible consistency and making a huge impact in every game. She plays with passion every week and is quick to adapt to the play moving from attack to defense smoothly. She brought calmness and stability to the midcourt while never giving up on chasing down every ball. From incredible intercepts straight into doing the splits on court, throughout the season she has proved herself very worthy of being a co-captain and MVP.
