Part of the OGL481 curriculum includes analyzing a single situation from the perspective of five different frameworks. The Structural Frame, The Human Resource Frame, The Political Frame, The Symbolic Frame, and the Ethical Frame. Every module focused on one of these frames concluding with a Personal Case Analysis and on our individual situation. My particular situation occurred throughout my tenure with a drone delivery startup called DroneUp. When DroneUp originally partnered with Walmart, they rapidly initiated plans to establish delivery hubs in several key states and hire qualified pilots and leaders to staff these delivery hubs. Company leadership and recruiters told prospective applicants and new hires that climate controlled buildings would soon be ready or within weeks after starting operations. But in the meantime, all flights and daily operations would be conducted out of pop-up tents. The employees had no reason to doubt these claims and gladly began operations. Over the months and years, many different reasons were given for the lack of the buildings all the while people struggled to stay healthy and excited during the Arizona summers, Utah winters, and storm seasons in Florida.
