Strategies for Assessing and Teaching Students with Visual and Multiple Disabilities

A TVI started by making a tactile book about positional concepts for a student with visual impairments and additional disabilities.  The Speech Language Pathologist shared ideas to expand the activity in order to incorporate language development and other vocabulary.  The result was a book that integrates a number of different skills through a single activity.
