"Ko Rangi ka heke ko Nuku ki raro nei...teenei te mauri ka tohu i awau! Maia mai te tipua! Maia mai te tahito! Te Kaahui o Ngaa Ariki! Tuturu whiti whakamauā kia tina! Tina! Ui e... Taiki e!"
Kiaora I am Weherua and live in the region of Te Tairawhiti, Waikohu County. Tupapakurau Rongā is my purpose! Purpose to provide and empower our many whānau and hapu of Aotearoa. Restoring and Reviving the preserving of our loved ones to take their place of 'Rest in Peace'.
ALL WANANGA anywhere I bring my Angels: Taimana Healer (Red Nose Sharpee, 8), Red Te Whero (Red Nose Ridgeback, 10) and My Mea Lady (Red Nose/Sharpee, 3yrs) and sometimes 'Riki-Rocky' the whippet, too. As you may not be aware that my van accommodates their needs and I prioritize to ensure their space is safe and when invited to bring this kaupapa my 'Angels' need a safe space as well. When I do wananga of this field I bring the 'kaupapa' and not of my identity or whakapapa.
This is one of the reasons of pohiri or whakatau I will not stand to reply because my first attendance is to bring the kaupapa and not bring myself. The kaupapa I bring comes from decades and generations of my hapu practices and therefore I am the vessel to bring such kaupapa to you and yours.
Am here to make changes in our society and especially within whanau and hapu as the economics of living puts a vase weight on our decisions when we have any deaths occur and we definitely do come face-to-face with these uncertain situations of our loved ones passing. We practice moana tikanga and ngahere tikanga under Tūpāpakurau Rongā. As one person learns these divine tools with divine guidance, the seed is planted within each whanau and eventually hapu grows with the tacit knowledge to Action, then my goal is achieved.
"Conditioned, reconditioned!"
We have come to the conclusion that this field of Knowledge does not suit Education Providers as these providers have their own foundations of Mātauranga Māori and Models that would not suit the Models of Tupapakurau Rongā, unless there is some sort of consideration and negotiation, then it will be impossible until I co-create it after my Doctorate.
There are a few Practitioners who exercise moana tikanga within Te Tairawhiti and also in other tribal areas like Taranaki and Wanganui. There are also beautiful Practitioners who go further to teaching of coffin-making as we have a club in Gisborne and in Mataatua there is a collaborative group that have come together to bring wealth of knowledge to providing other ways to attend to our loved ones, there are loads of options for you as I am part of the Collaborative group in the Mataatua Region.
There is no other kaupapa that delivers this or teaches this expert field...
"Maa Pango, maa Whero ka oti ai te mahi..."
