In September 1925, Enrico Fermi came by bycicle to visit my aunt Cornelia Trevisani and spent a few days at our family house in Gaon (Caprino Veronese), enjoying the serene beauty of the places and the warm welcome of the local people
Maria Fermi Sacchetti, sister of Enrico, was a friend of the heart of my aunt Cornelia Trevisani. She had three children: Gabriella, Ida (a beloved aunt for my sister and I, a math teacher at elementary school), and Giorgio (a talented pianist: like me, he loved Schumann, and his wife's name was indeed "Clara"). She died in an aviation accident of TWA Flioght 891 in Olgiate Olona (VA)
