Changing from Lifeguard model to Attendant model
Ryan from Water Watchers explains:
Attendants are more available than Guards - better coverage, fewer staffing issues
Liability is lower without Guards because of there is no expectation of life saving measures
1 year trial of the change
Attendants are first aid trained but aren’t required to carry guard certification, are not CPR certified
Attendants are 15 and older
The change will require children under 16 to be accompanied by an adult (16+)
Despite the inconveniences associated with the change, Water Watchers remains the best option for a management company. Ryan is local and responsive.

Maxwell and Elise will revisit this issue with current village leadership
Consider a senior freeze for HOA dues?
Discussions have begun within the board on this issue
The board is prepared to entertain discussions re: financial hardship
