How to edit a product

There are three ways to edit a new product in the application catalog:

- directly in the application,

- text message from Telegram,

- and a photo message from Telegram.

First method (directly on the phone):

Open the list of products in the application (the "products" button) and open the desired product.

Edit its fields: "name", "properties", "category", "price", "discount", "availability",  "description". If you need, select another picture using the “select photo” button, having first downloaded it to your phone. (Note: Permission is required for the button to function.)

Close the product window. When the window is closed, all changes made are written to memory.

If all fields have been filled in, then the edited product will appear in the store catalog in Telegram in the specified category.

The following two methods are convenient to use in Telegram on a desktop computer.

The second method  is by text message from Telegram (when the store is running):

The steps are the same as when adding a new product.

But here we also fill in the product number in the field “Product == 13 ==" - i.e. We want to edit the 13th product (see its number from the list of products in the application).

For example:

Product== 13 ==    name== T-shirt ==

As a result, the name of the 13th product will be Mike

The list of products in the application will now have an edited 13th product.

And if necessary, change the picture directly in the application using the “select photo” button, having first downloaded it to your phone. (Attention! Permission is required for the button to work.)

If all fields have been filled in, the product will appear in the store catalog in Telegram in the specified category.

Third method (photo message from Telegram when the store is running):

Open your store’s page in Telegram and send a new photo of the product with the text filled in as in the previous method. In the same way, you need to specify the number of the product you want to change and enter new text in the required fields.

The already changed product with a new picture will appear in the list of products in the application.

If all fields have been filled in, then the changed product will appear in the store catalog in Telegram in the specified category.

(Note: with this method, you will not be able to upload a very long description of the product, since Telegram limits text messages with photos to 1000 characters. If you need a long description, you can edit it separately up to 4000 characters in a text message, as in the second method. )
