How to add a new product

To introduce a new product, prepare its picture and text information.

Recommended images have a width/height of 2/1.

with a resolution of 600 by 300 px and quality 70. Such pictures will weigh several Kb and will not take up much space in the phone’s memory.

Prepare text data for the product:

- name, category up to 70 characters,

- properties up to 200 characters,

- price, discount up to 10 characters,

- description up to 3700 characters.

There are three ways to add a new product to the application catalog:

- directly in the application,

- via text message from Telegram,

- and using photo message from Telegram.

First method (directly on the phone):

Open the list of products in the application (the "products" button) and click on the "+" button.

An empty new product will appear in the list.

Open it and fill out the fields.

Select the appropriate picture using the “select photo” button, having first downloaded it to your phone. (Note: Permission is required for the button to function.)

Close the product window.

If all fields have been filled in, the product will appear in the store catalog in Telegram in the specified category.

The following two methods are very convenient to use in Telegram on a desktop computer.

The second method is by text message from Telegram (when the store is running).

On the store page, send the command Product== == with the text:

Product== == (we do not enter the product number here, so a new product will be created)

name==Jacket==

A new product called “Jacket” will appear in the list of products in the application. It will be without a picture, since there is no picture in the text message. You can immediately enter the remaining fields.

For example:

properties== blue, automatic transmission, 6 years, negotiable ==

price== 300000 ==

description== in good condition, mileage 100,000 km. ==

Open the new product that appears in the application and add a picture using the “select photo” button, having first downloaded it to your phone. (Note: Permission is required for the button to function.)

Close the product window.

If all fields have been filled in, then the new product will appear in the store catalog in Telegram in the specified category.

The third method is a photo message from Telegram (when the store is running):

Open your store page in Telegram and send an image of the product with the text filled in as in the previous method.

The product will appear in the list of products in the application with the picture you sent.

If all fields have been filled in, the product will appear in the store catalog in Telegram in the specified category.

(Note: with this method it will not be possible to upload a very long description of the product, since Telegram limits the texts of photo messages to 1000 characters. If you need a long description, you can edit it separately up to 4000 characters in a text message, as in the second method. Or directly in the application.)

In order not to manually enter the product entry text, you can send the command: Get input template==

In response, you will receive a hint and a text template.

The text must be copied, filled in the fields in any editor as indicated in the prompt and sent back by text message.
