Let's Do Lunch

LET’S DO LUNCH is a NEW program offered by TRIO to help our students strengthen their relationship with professors and staff members across the campus! Research has shown that developing relationships with faculty and staff outside the classroom leads to higher persistence, retention and matriculation rates! We want to make that process a little easier!

Step by step process:

1. Talk to a professor that you'd like to get to know better and find out if they'd be willing to participate.

2. Establish some objectives and questions that you would like to be answered.

3. Submit an application (found below).

4. Allow up to one week for processing your application.

5. A confirmation e-mailed will be sent upon approval

6. If approved, pick up your meal voucher (valid for $10 per person) at the TRiO office RM 1435

7. Meet at Truman Cafeteria, and enjoy your lunch with your professor!

8. Following your meal please complete the evaluation form.

Student are allowed one lunch per semester.

You must confirm the lunch date with your classmates and instructor first, and then submit the Take Your Professor to Lunch
