TRiO is offering FREE Financial Wellness courses through iGrad this year! This is an outstanding opportunity to gain some financial insight and learn about:

• Borrowing smart and preparing for higher education
• Creating a budget (and sticking to it)
• Creating a financial plan for your priorities and goals
• Investing to build wealth
• Mastering credit and optimizing your score
• Protecting yourself from identity theft and scams
• Repaying your student loans
• Staying on track with student loans while in school
• Understanding credit reports and scores
• Understanding your paycheck and W2
• Using credit cards responsibly

NEW TRiO Applicants:

A FINANCIAL LITERACY CHECK-UP and the completion of 3 Workshops will be a MANDATORY requirement for all NEW TRiO participants! It is required to complete these within your first 30 days of your interview. Failure to complete the workshops, without Director approval, will result in a suspension of services until they are complete.

RETURNING TRiO STUDENTS:

It is HIGHLY recommended for all TRiO participants to do a Financial Literacy Check-up so you have a better understanding of your financial habits and attain some strategies to help you become more financially successful. These mini-courses are easy and fun to take, and provide a wealth of information.

Completion of ALL Courses will receive a Certificate and be honored at our End of Year Scholars Luncheon!
