Donna Gephart grew up in Philadelphia. She often rode her bike to the library to check out books to read. As an adult, Donna now lives in southern Florida with her family, which includes her canine assistant, Benji. Referring to herself as a "Professional Nerd", Donna's love of reading and libraries lead her to career as a children's book author.
