Logging Your Volunteer Hours
Why Submit Your Hours?
The hours you spend on TIC are very valuable!
Your hours/mileage help to fund all the equipment and materials needed for the TIC program.
Your hours/mileage equate to federally matched dollars, as below:
65 cents a mile
$36.36 an hour
* This is a requirement for all teachers and volunteers to continue to participate in the TIC program.
What Should You Submit?
Any hours you spend doing maintenance or work on or with the tanks should be recorded.
Hours must be submitted at least every two weeks, but preferably every week, through the volunteer portal.
Click here to access the volunteer portal.
New TIC Teachers that do not have an existing NDOW volunteer account, will need to create an account through the link above.
Click "Apply Now" and then follow the instructions for recording your hours.
If you are already an NDOW volunteer, we can connect your existing volunteer account to TIC. Just let us know!
Our Regional Volunteer Coordinators will check in on your hours bi-weekly, to ensure your hours are being captured.
