Reflection

Part of my job is working in a marketing capacity, making sure the image being portrayed inside and outside the college is favorable. I do this by making sure our web presence is inclusive to all, that our web sites are functioning and accessible/508 compliant. I also try to volunteer my time when I have the time opportunity, last summer I worked a couple local fairs for Century, talking about our campus and programs. I have had to articulate project information to the community on several occasions, and I have run surveys to the campus and community for various projects. The biggest was our web redesign where I did awareness campaigns, student focus groups, campus survey's, community survey's, solicited feedback from sources in and outside of the college.

Finally, watching the school board meetings was a great learning experience to see how they interact and solicit feedback from the community.
